Novembre, Italy's atmospheric death/doom metal purveyor, has teamed up with Invisible Oranges to stream the band's upcoming seventh studio album, URSA, before it releases tomorrow on Peaceville. Stream URSA in its entirety, along with a track by track commentary from guitarist/vocalist Carmelo Orlando, exclusively at: http://www.invisibleoranges.com/novembre-ursa-album-premiere/.

URSA is still available to pre-order on CD and LP from the Peaceville webstore at: www.peaceville.com/store. Pre-orders also come with a bonus free three track EP 'Annoluce' plus two exclusive tracks. Digital pre-orders are available on iTunes at: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/ursa/id1085803257

After a period of inactivity since 2007's The Blue, which involved the departure of longstanding member Giuseppe Orlando, Novembre returns with a new set of potent and poignant tracks, effortlessly transitioning between soothing, epic, melancholy and intense, from what is one of the originators of the whole atmospheric death/doom scene. Headed by founding member and writer Carmelo Orlando, and with a reinvigorated musical alliance with Massimiliano Pagliuso, the line-up is completed by Fabio Fraschini (previously bassist on the Materia album) and David Folchitto on drums. There is also a special guest appearance from Anders Nyström of the Swedish doom master Katatonia, adding his own unique 'cold' touch to the album's single track "Annoluce."

Carmelo Orlando commented: "This album is a very important step in my life. It got me closer to what some may call 'maturity.' I've been able to delve even deeper into the chasm of the subconscious and unearth gems I didn't think existed. Lyrically and conceptually I explored new shores. I moved my ever-inwards headlights, and for the first time I dared to point them outwards, against the squalor of this Orwellian apocalypse we're committing towards the Earth and its sons, on a daily basis, in quasi-total indifference."

URSA was recorded at Blue Noise Studio and PlayRec studio by Massimiliano Pagliuso, then mixed and mastered at Unisound Studios by Dan Swanö (Opeth, Katatonia, Bloodbath). Cover art comes courtesy of Travis Smith.

Novembre, Italy's atmospheric death/doom metal purveyor, has teamed up with Bloody-Disgusting.com to launch a new track, "Bremen," from its upcoming seventh studio album, URSA, which is due out on April 1 via Peaceville. Stream "Bremen" exclusively at: http://bloody-disgusting.com/music/3384218/novembre-stun-us-bremen-exclusive.

Founding member and writer Carmelo Orlando commented on the track: "'Bremen' is probably the most 'Death Metal' of all the songs on our new album, 'URSA.' It starts with an early-Maiden-ian arpeggio and then it attacks with a crushing riff which takes good part of the song. There's plenty of vocal harmonies. Fifths mainly, so medieval! Lyrically I took inspiration from the novel 'Town Musicians of Bremen' by the Brothers Grimm, a bedtime story whose morals are about exploitation of our fellow man."

An additional URSA track, "Umana," can be streamed on YouTube at:

URSA is available to pre-order on CD and LP from the Peaceville webstore at: www.peaceville.com/store. Pre-orders also come with a bonus free three track EP 'Annoluce' plus two exclusive tracks.

Raging Speedhorn Reveal Album Title, Artwork & Release Date

Corby sludge demons Raging Speedhorn have finally announced the release date of their long awaited new album. The record, titled “Lost Ritual”, is set for a wide release on July 15th 2016. However, anyone who pledged on the record will receive their copy a week earlier on July 8th 2016.

Guitarist Jim Palmer had this to say on the album and its title "This album seems like a true reflection of everyone's input, a slice of all of us, if you will. It has those typical Speedhorn, pumping rock n roll moments, and some much darker ones too. Sound wise, it's got all the feedback, distortion, bad attitude and in-your-face antics you'd expect with a sound that should be more familiar to Speedhorn fans, but with a twist.

The title of the album, “Lost Ritual”, came initially from the artwork. It just seemed to fit perfectly with the image. Subconsciously though, I think maybe the title fits even better than that, as the mojo in the band seems to be back. Speedhorn have finally returned. We are really excited for everyone to hear the new album; you won’t be disappointed!" Fans still wanting to Pledge on the new record can do so here - http://www.pledgemusic.com/projects/raging-speedhorn

“Lost Ritual”, which was produced by Russ Russell (Napalm Death, Dimmu Borgir, The Wildhearts), is their first record with original vocalist Frank Regan since “How The Great Have Fallen” in 2005, the band’s first record since “Before The Sea Was Built” in 2008, and the first with their new line up.

Raging Speedhorn formed in 1998 and went on to release four records, the most successful being their second release “We Will Be Dead Tomorrow”, recorded by Billy Graziadei & Danny Schuler of Biohazard fame. The band achieved chart success with ‘The Gush’ in 2001, toured globally with the likes of Slipknot, Ill Nino, Rammstein and Will Haven, and performed at countless festivals around the world, including main stage at the inaugural Download Festival in 2004. They split in 2008 following the release of their last record “Before The Sea Was Built” and a subsequent tour of Japan.
